Modric extends Real Madrid contract

Croatian midfielder Luka Modric, 38, has extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2025. The 2018 Ballon d’Or winner has won 26 trophies with Real since 2012, including six Champions League titles. Despite expectations of retirement, especially after teammate Toni Kroos announced his, Modric plans to continue playing both for Real Madrid and internationally for Croatia.
