Mother of Democracy’: Movie to be made on Khaleda Zia

Filmmaker MK Zaman is set to direct “Mother of Democracy,” a biopic about BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, following Sheikh Hasina’s regime end. The film, produced by Akhond Entertainment PLC, is scheduled to begin shooting on September 25. Zaman claims to have obtained Khaleda Zia’s permission and says the film will reveal “true democracy in Bangladesh.” The cast remains undisclosed, with the director promising surprises in the announcement.
