Nahid: New national day on the cards commemorating July revolution

Bangladesh’s interim government has announced the cancellation of eight national days associated with the Awami League, including March 7 and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday. Information Adviser Md Nahid Islam stated that these days were imposed by the “fascist” Awami League and will no longer be observed.
