National Rabindra Sangeet Festival kicks off, honours Kalim Sharafi and Sadi Mohammad

The 35th National Rabindra Sangeet Festival, a three-day event celebrating the timeless melodies of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, commenced yesterday at the International Mother Language Institute auditorium. Organized by Bangladesh Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sangstha (BRSS), the festival honors notable figures like Kalim Sharafi and pays tribute to Tagore’s compositions through performances by over 300 artists from various cultural groups across the country.
