Nat’l emergency helpline 999 fully operational after cops return to work

Bangladesh’s national emergency helpline 999 is now fully operational after being disrupted since August 6 due to police personnel’s absence. The service was running on a limited scale but has resumed full capacity as police have returned to work at most stations.
