Nepali becomes youngest to climb world’s 8,000m peaks
Eighteen-year-old Nepali mountaineer Nima Rinji Sherpa has become the youngest person to climb all fourteen 8,000-meter peaks after summiting Tibet’s Shisha Pangma. Coming from a family of record-holding mountaineers, he began high-altitude climbing at 16 and completed his final summit Wednesday morning. The previous record was held by Mingma Gyabu Sherpa at age 30. Nepal’s Mountaineering Association hailed it as a proud moment for the country.READ FULL
