Netflix announces development of ‘One Tree Hill’ sequel

Netflix is reportedly developing a sequel series to “One Tree Hill”, with original stars Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, and Daneel Ackles as executive producers. Becky Hartman-Edwards will write and produce. Warner Bros Television is expected to produce. Bush and Burton are likely to reprise their roles, with Ackles in talks to return. Other original cast members’ involvement is uncertain. The original creator, Mark Schwahn, accused of assault and harassment, is not involved.
