Over 772,000 children affected by flash floods in north-east Bangladesh: UNICEF

UNICEF reports that over 772,000 children are among the 2 million people affected by flash floods in northeastern Bangladesh. The situation is expected to worsen in the next 24-48 hours. UNICEF has distributed safe water to 100,000 people and 3,000 water containers. Over 810 schools are flooded, with 500 used as shelters. Nearly 140 community clinics are affected.
