Partho placed on remand again for three days
Andaleeve Rahman Partho, president of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party, has been placed on an additional three-day remand by a Dhaka court. Previously arrested on July 25 for alleged involvement in vandalism at the Setu Bhaban, Partho had already served a five-day remand. Police sought a 10-day extension, while his lawyers filed for bail. The court granted a three-day remand after hearing both sides. Partho’s lawyer argued that he has no connection to BNP or Jamaat-e-Islami politics and denied his involvement in the incident. Prothom Alo
