Protesters block several intersections in city seeking quota reform

Students in Bangladesh’s capital blocked key intersections, including Shahbagh, demanding legislation to revoke discriminatory quotas in government jobs. The protest began at 11:15 am, halting traffic at Shahbagh, Agargaon, Science Laboratory, and Farmgate. A procession from Dhaka University joined the blockade at 11:50 am under the banner of ‘anti-discriminatory student movement’.
