Putin reappoints Mishustin as Russia’s PM

Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed reappointing Mikhail Mishustin as Prime Minister, signaling stability in his government amid the Ukraine war and Western sanctions. Mishustin, a technocrat with no political ambitions, has helped keep the Russian economy afloat despite sanctions. With virtually no opposition in parliament, Mishustin’s approval is almost certain.
