Rain likely across country in next 72 hours: Met office

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers across the country over the next 72 hours, with the possibility of moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall at different places. The highest 24-hour rainfall of 193mm was recorded in Sitakunda. The monsoon is currently active over Bangladesh and strong over the North Bay of Bengal. BSS
