Rain likely in Dhaka on Eid day, say meteorologists

Bangladesh Meteorological Department has predicted increased rainfall in the northeastern and northwestern regions during Eid-ul-Azha and the following day. While Dhaka may experience light drizzles on Eid day, moderate to heavy showers are expected in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet, and parts of Chattogram divisions. The monsoon is expected to become more active, causing higher rainfall across the country after June 19.
