Report: Bangladesh lags as renewables set to offer half of global electricity by 2030

According to the International Energy Agency’s latest report, while global renewable energy capacity is set to provide nearly half of total electricity demand by 2030, Bangladesh significantly lags behind. The world expects to add over 5,500 gigawatts of renewable capacity between 2024-2030, with solar PV accounting for 80% of growth.
