Reshuffle in prisons: 13 jailers transferred

The Bangladesh Department of Prisons has announced a major reshuffle, transferring 13 senior jail officials across the country. The circular, signed by Inspector General of Prisons Brigadier General Syed Md Motaher Hossain, includes the transfer of AKAM Masum from Dinajpur to become the new jailer of Dhaka Central Jail. The previous Dhaka Central Jail jailer, Nashir Ahmed, has been moved to Bandarban District Jail.
