Rongdhonu Group Director Mizan remanded

Mizanur Rahman Mizan, director of Rongdhonu Group and former vice chairman of Rupganj upazila, has been granted a two-day remand by a Dhaka court. Mizan was arrested in connection with a case filed at Khilkhet police station for alleged extortion. The case, filed by a security guard, accuses eight individuals of unlawfully entering a property, vandalizing signboards, and threatening security personnel. The accused allegedly demanded Tk5 crore and threatened violence if not paid. Mizan was arrested in Vatara, Dhaka.READ FULL
