Several passengers injured as plane skids off Indonesia runway

An ATR-42 plane operated by Trigana Air skidded off the runway in Indonesia’s Papua region, injuring several of the 48 people on board. The incident occurred during takeoff from Yapen Islands regency to Jayapura. All passengers and crew survived and were taken to a hospital. Local authorities are investigating the incident.
