Shammo murder: Three placed on six-day remand

A Dhaka court has placed three suspects on six-day remand each for the murder of Dhaka University student Shahriar Alam Shammo. Tamim Hawlader, Samrat Mallic, and Palash Sardar were ordered into custody despite claiming innocence. Shammo, a Chhatra Dal leader, was fatally stabbed on May 13 at Suhrawardy Udyan following a motorcycle collision and altercation.
