South Africa through to semis after edging West Indies in thriller
South Africa secured a spot in the T20 World Cup semi-finals by narrowly defeating the West Indies in a rain-affected Super Eights match. Chasing a revised target of 123 runs from 17 overs, South Africa reached their goal with five balls remaining, winning by three wickets. Marco Jansen sealed the victory with a six off Obed McCoy. The loss eliminated the host nation, West Indies, from the tournament. Roston Chase took three wickets for the West Indies in a tight contest.
