By Redoy K

A recent study in Dhaka has revealed the presence of harmful bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella, and Vibrio in popular street foods such as chotpoti, chola-muri, sandwiches, juices, and salads. Researchers found alarmingly high levels of these bacteria, which can cause stomach diseases. The contamination is attributed to factors like unclean water, utensils, hands, and environments used by the vendors. The study highlights the urgent need for training vendors and strict monitoring to ensure food safety standards.
