Summer vacation shortened; schools, colleges to open June 26

The Ministry of Education in Bangladesh has decided to shorten the summer vacation for educational institutions this year. Instead of reopening on July 2 as per the academic calendar, the institutes will now reopen on June 26 to make up for learning losses. However, the two-day weekly holiday on Friday and Saturday will remain in place. This decision aims to recover the lost academic time due to extended vacations.
