Swechchhasebak Dal leader killed in attack by ‘AL men’

A Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal leader, Shawkat Ali Didar, was killed and 50 others injured in an alleged attack by Awami League members in Gopalganj town, Bangladesh. The incident occurred when BNP’s motorcade was intercepted at Ghonapara while heading to Tungipara. BNP claims 200-300 AL supporters attacked them, while AL denies the allegation, stating that BNP activists provoked the conflict by tearing down banners.
