Taliban face Hague threat over treatment of women, girls

Australia, Canada, Germany, and The Netherlands are initiating legal action against Afghanistan’s Taliban government at the International Court of Justice for violating women’s rights. The countries argue that the Taliban’s policies violate the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.
