TikTok parent ByteDance sues former intern for $1.1 million
ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company, is suing former intern Tian Keyu for 8 million yuan ($1.1 million), alleging he deliberately disrupted its AI training systems by altering code during his internship. Tian, a Peking University postgraduate student, was dismissed in August.
