UN: Greenhouse gases hit new record highs in 2023
The UN’s World Meteorological Organization reports that greenhouse gas levels hit new records in 2023, with CO2 accumulating 10% faster than two decades ago. WMO chief Celeste Saulo warns that we’re off track to meet Paris Agreement goals of limiting global warming to well below 2°C.
