Unite to restore people’s rights: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir called for a new movement to reclaim people’s rights and eliminate corruption, accusing the government of economic mismanagement. Addressing a May Day rally, he urged unity across sectors to wage a movement for restoring voting rights and democracy. Fakhrul alleged the government is attempting to impose one-party rule and vowed the opposition’s commitment to continue the struggle for establishing democracy.
