UP member dies as house set on fire in Jashore

A union parishad member, Talimul Islam, died in a Dhaka hospital after he suffered severe burn injuries when miscreants set his house on fire in Jhikargacha, Jashore. Talimul, his wife, and son were sleeping when the incident occurred. Talimul’s brother also sustained injuries while trying to rescue them. Police have initiated an investigation and a case has been filed against unknown perpetrators. Daily Star
