Venice Film Festival 2024 winners announced

The 81st Venice Film Festival concluded with Pedro Almodovar’s “The Room Next Door” winning the Golden Lion. Nicole Kidman and Vincent Lindon won Best Actress and Actor respectively. The Silver Lion went to Maura Delpero’s “Vermiglio,” while Brady Corbet won Best Director for “The Brutalist.” Other winners included Murilo Hauser and Heitor Lorega for Best Screenplay, and Paul Kircher for Best Young Actor.
