Violence in CHT: Over 800 tourists stranded in Sajek

Over 800 tourists are stranded in Sajek, Rangamati, due to a transport strike and a 72-hour blockade following recent violence in Khagrachhari and Rangamati hill districts. Indigenous people in Dhaka announced the blockade in protest of the violence. Simultaneously, transport owners and workers in Rangamati called an indefinite strike, protesting attacks on their staff and vandalism of vehicles during the incident.
