WB to provide $3b this fiscal for reforms

The World Bank has pledged $3 billion to support Bangladesh’s reform agenda, including $2 billion in fresh loans and $1 billion repurposed from existing programs. The commitment was made during a meeting between a WB mission and Muhammad Yunus, chief adviser to the interim government. Yunus emphasized the need for reforms and recovery of siphoned funds.
